Within one safe and child-focused sanctuary, children can share their story, receive expert care, and begin their path toward healing.

Kimberly’s Center exists to ensure children are never re-victimized by the very system meant to protect them.

Through the nationally recognized Children’s Advocacy Center model, law enforcement, medical professionals, child protection experts, and therapists work together under one roof.

Instead of telling their story multiple times, children share their experience once in a calm, child-focused environment where trained specialists listen with compassion and care. This coordinated approach protects the integrity of investigations while allowing healing to begin.

Our trauma-informed services ensure that children receive the expert care they need while investigators pursue justice.

RESPOND

Kimberly’s Center provides round-the-clock, year-round investigative support to assist children and their families, offering expert services such as forensic and specialized interviews to prevent re-traumatization, along with in-house medical exams tailored specifically for children.

PROTECT

Every child is assigned a dedicated child advocate who accompanies them throughout their journey. Advocates also conduct prevention and awareness education in schools.

RESTORE

Specialized therapists adept in childhood trauma offer their expertise. They are committed to equipping children with the coping skills needed to heal and overcome the adverse effects associated with abuse.

Protecting Children in the Digital Age

The dangers children face today increasingly exist online.

Kimberly’s Center works alongside the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Ocala Police Department through the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force to respond to cyber exploitation and protect children from digital harm.

While law enforcement pursues justice, Kimberly’s Center provides the forensic interviews, medical care, and trauma therapy that help children heal.
