United to Protect Children
Each fall, Kimberly’s Center for Child Protection hosts its signature fundraising event, Art & Soul, an evening dedicated to sustaining the programs that protect and support children across Marion County.
As the organization’s largest annual fundraiser, Art & Soul brings together generous donors, sponsors, and community leaders who share a commitment to ensuring every child has access to a safe, trauma-informed path toward healing.
This event features a limited live auction of children’s healing artwork, a reflection of hope that make their way into homes and businesses.
Art & Soul also offers opportunities for individuals and organizations to become more deeply involved through event sponsorships or by hosting a table which helps strengthen Kimberly’s Center’s ability to provide critical services at no cost to the children and families who need them most.
100 Strong is a dedicated group of community leaders and advocates who are committed to standing firmly behind the mission of Kimberly’s Center. Through shared purpose, members of 100 Strong help ensure that children in Marion County have access to the protection, advocacy, and healing services they need, when they need them most.
This initiative reflects the strength of community leadership and the power of coming together to make a lasting impact. Being part of 100 Strong is more than a contribution, it is a commitment to protecting childhood and strengthening the future of our community.
Together, these leaders form a powerful network of support, ensuring that Kimberly’s Center remains a steadfast and compassionate presence for generations to come.
For over 14 years, the annual Kimberly’s Center 5K Race/Walk Against Child Abuse event has raised critical funds to help children begin their path to healing in a safe, child-friendly environment, where participants join the fight against child abuse while supporting children in Marion County who have experienced trauma.
All participants receive special rewards: the first 500 runners get a guaranteed T-shirt or tank, and the first 800 finishers earn a challenge medal. There’s also an award for the largest group of registered participants, whether you run or walk.
Thanks to the incredible community support, this event provides resources and hope for the over 1,300 children Kimberly’s Center serves each year.
